Branding a student film festival for scaling impact.

The Academies Film Fest Awards is a large scale student film competition in Loudoun County, Virginia. Students submit their independent films, documentaries, animations, music videos, and screenplays for judging and a chance at national recognition. I built a dynamic design system to match the diversity of submissions the festival receives each year. The logo uses a spotlight perspective to emphasize the competition's prestige, and the subsequent shadow formed changes colors dependent upon the work and context the audience will see it in.
